🌴 Baddies Catalina Takeover

Our annual Baddies Day on Catalina Island is BACK! 💅🏽🌺
If you missed it last year — or you’re ready to run it back with the gang — this is going to be a BIG day.

This is your summer social escape. Walking, exploring, laughing, shopping, ocean views, photos, bonding, and unforgettable island energy — all curated for you.

Saturday, July 25, 2026 | 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM | Day Trip
Departing from Long Beach

💚 12% of proceeds from all booked tours go to support the Catalina Island Conservancy.
When we explore, we also give back to the island that’s hosting us.

🧭 Choose Your Tour Experience

🚙 Island Jeep Tour (90 mins)

Hop into an open-air Jeep with our friendly island guides as they drive you up into Catalina’s rugged interior — including a stop at the famous Airport in the Sky.

Along the way you’ll:
• Take in panoramic ocean views
• Learn fun island history
• Stop at scenic overlooks
• Snap elevated group photos from the top
• Keep your eyes peeled for bison roaming the hills (there aren’t many left on the island, but spotting one is always a moment 👀)

This is the adventurous, scenic, “wow I didn’t know Catalina looked like this” experience.

📸 Island Gems Walking Tour

Main character energy activated. ✨

We’ll stroll through Avalon stopping for:
• Coffee ☕
• The iconic pier
• Scenic waterfront views
• Hidden photo spots
• Colorful buildings + beach backdrops

Professional-quality photos will be taken throughout the tour — so dress cute. 📸

A link with all photos will be uploaded in the trip group chat after the event.

Light walking, lots of laughs, built-in photo moments, and effortless connection.

🧺 Group Picnic + Free Time

Pack your own lunch for a relaxed group picnic and bonding time.

Sit with someone new. Share snacks. Laugh. Actually connect.

Afterward, enjoy free social adventure time to:
• Kayak
• Shop local boutiques
• Lounge by the beach
• Grab ice cream
• Explore Avalon at your own pace

Structured enough to feel intentional. Flexible enough to feel free.

👯 Who This Is For

✔️ Women who enjoy social, low-key adventure days
✔️ Those who want connection without intense hiking
✔️ Beginners who prefer light walking and exploring
✔️ Women coming solo who want an easy first event
✔️ Members who love photo days + memory-making

If you’ve ever said, “I want to go but I don’t want to go alone” — this is for you.

💛 Community-Supported Event

By attending this event, you’re directly supporting the community.

100% of any additional proceeds go back into LA Hiking Baddies — helping us run the group, host events, create experiences, and support our paid admins who keep everything organized and running smoothly.

When you show up, you’re not just joining an event — you’re investing in the sisterhood.

This isn’t just a ferry ride.
This isn’t just a beach day.

Yes, you could plan a solo Catalina trip — but you wouldn’t get the curated itinerary, the coordinated tours, the built-in connections, the shared laughter, the group picnic, the photo moments, or the takeover energy.

This is a once-a-year summer experience with the girls.

Spots will go.
The Jeep tour will fill.
And once it’s sold out, it’s sold out.

This is a Baddies Catalina Takeover. 💖🌊

If you’re thinking about it — book it.

FAQ

Q: What is the age range of the group?

A: Our group is open to women aged 21 and above, which gives us a diverse age range of attendees. From 21-year-olds to 75-year-olds, our events attract a diverse group of women who share a passion for an active lifestyle. What may surprise you is that, contrary to common assumptions, physical appearance provides little insight into someone's age in our group. We encourage individuals to show up and let go of any insecurities they may have. Join us and be part of a supportive community where age is just a number!

Q: What are shared trip accommodations like?

A: One of the highlights of Baddies trips is the opportunity to stay in luxury homes. This aspect of our trips offers a unique and indulgent experience that allows us to unwind and indulge in comfort. We prioritize location, amenities, and ambiance. we ensure that our homes are nestled in beautiful and serene surroundings, providing the perfect backdrop for our adventures. The attention to detail in each home we select is impeccable, creating a luxurious atmosphere that is both inviting and indulgent.

To provide the best possible value, the accommodations offered are shared. This means that you will share the space with other Baddies. By opting for shared occupancy, you can enjoy the luxury of a top-end property at a lower cost per person. Please note that prices listed are per person, inclusive of the amenities and services mentioned above. If you are more comfortable with your own space, you have the option to reserve both spots on a single bed.

Q: What is an "Air Mattress Spot"?

A: I examined the layout of the house and devised a plan that would enable all Baddies, regardless of their financial situation, to enjoy an affordable trip. To strike a balance between affordability and quality, I strategically incorporated Air Mattress Spots into the house design. Please note that participants are responsible for bringing their own air mattresses and all necessary items.

Q: What if I purchased a spot for a friend?

A: If you're purchasing for yourself and a friend, you've already acknowledged reading and agreeing to the Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk Agreement by checking the box during checkout. However, your friend still needs to submit their Liability Waiver.
